Description:

The rabies vaccination certificate should accompany the health documents for entry to Nicaragua.

  • Rabies vaccination must be current and valid at the time of travel.
  • Rabies vaccination details must be recorded by a licensed/USDA-accredited veterinarian and accompany the health certificate.

Use the official USDA APHIS veterinary health certificate for export of dogs and cats to Nicaragua. The certificate must be issued by a USDA-accredited veterinarian and endorsed by USDA APHIS prior to travel.

  • Must be endorsed by USDA APHIS before departure.
  • APHIS endorsement requires an original ink signature by APHIS.
