OISA Inspection on Arrival
All pets are subject to inspection by SENASICA at official ports of entry (OISA). Inspectors may verify the animal’s general health/cleanliness and may clean or disinfect carriers if needed.
- Present your pet at SENASICA (OISA) for inspection upon arrival.
- Items such as bedding, food, or other materials in the carrier may be removed/disposed of by inspectors if they do not meet sanitary requirements.
- If external parasites or signs of disease are observed, treatment or additional measures may be required at the owner’s expense.
