Description:

Travelers are limited to import a maximum total of five (5) pets (dogs and/or cats), without requiring additional special permissions or import quarantine restrictions.

  • Must be vaccinated against rabies at least 21 days before travel.
  • Vaccination must be recorded in the health certificate.
Certifications
Description:

APHIS endorsement of the health certificate is required after it has been issued by a USDA Accredited Veterinarian. Health certificate issuance and endorsement must occur within five (5) days of the pet's travel.

  • Health certificate must be issued by a USDA Accredited Veterinarian.
  • Health certificate must be ink-signed and embossed.
Microchip

Microchip is recommended but not specified as mandatory.
