Airline Pet Policy Summary

  • Small, vaccinated domestic cats and dogs are welcome in the cabin on domestic flights.
  • Cats and dogs must be at least 8 weeks old to travel.
  • Unaccompanied Minors cannot travel with a pet.
  • Pricing for pet travel can be found on the Optional Travel Charges page, and is subject to change.
  • Only one pet carrier per ticketed Customer is allowed, with no more than two of the same species of small cat or dog in each carrier.
  • Reservations for pets should be made in advance.
  • Specific requirements may apply for Customers traveling to Puerto Rico.
  • Pets are not accepted on flights to or from Hawaii or on international itineraries.
  • Pets must be in a carrier at all times during boarding/deplaning, in the gate area, and during the flight.
  • Carriers must be stowed under your seat during the flight.
