  • Only cats and dogs allowed in passenger cabin in Economy Class.
  • Weight limit (animal + crate/pouch): 7 kgs / 15 lbs maximum.
  • Flight duration must not exceed 5 hours.
  • Maximum two pets allowed per flight in cabin.
  • Carrier dimensions must fit under-seat stowage area: Length 50 cm x Width 40 cm x Height 26 cm.
  • Reservation must be made at least 48 hours before departure with approval from RJ's Systems & Procedures Section.
  • Live Animal Acceptance Checklist must be signed by passenger for PETC acceptance.

Pets such as dogs and cats may be accepted as checked baggage (AVIH) but treated as excess baggage and not included in free baggage allowance.

  • Reservation required at least 48 hours prior to flight with approval from RJ's Systems & Procedures Section.
  • Maximum of 4 AVIH allowed per aircraft.
  • Live Animal Acceptance Checklist must be signed by passenger for AVIH acceptance.

  • Rodents are prohibited on all flights.
  • Falcons may be carried in cabin in Economy class only with special conditions and fees.

  • AVIH for India travel requires import/export permits, health certificates, vaccination records, microchip, fit-to-fly certificate, AQCS NOC, and IATA-approved crates with ventilation and labeling.
  • Quarantine may be required on arrival in India up to 30 days.
