In-Cabin Pet Carrier Rules

• Pet travel is restricted to house cats and small dogs only.
• Only one carrier per passenger is allowed, with one pet per carrier.
• The pet carrier must be soft-sided, leak proof, and well ventilated.
• Your pet must be able to stand up, turn around, and lie down comfortably inside the carrier.
• The carrier must fit under the seat in front of you and be safely stowed according to CTA and FAA regulations.
• Maximum carrier size allowed: 55 cm x 40 cm x 27 cm (21.5 in x 15.5 in x 10.5 in).
• The pet carrier must remain closed and under the seat during the flight; no part of the pet may extend outside the carrier.
• Your pet must remain in the carrier at all times from security screening until arrival at final destination.
• Pet in its carrier counts as one standard carry-on baggage item.
• Passengers traveling with pets are allowed only one additional personal item not exceeding 33 x 43 x 16 cm (13 x 17 x 6 inches).
• Pets are not permitted to travel with unaccompanied minors, passengers with infants, passengers requiring medical devices stowed under the seat, travel attendants, or passengers seated in emergency exit rows.
• Aggressive or distressed pets may be denied transport at Porter’s discretion.
• Pets are not permitted in the baggage hold on any Porter flight.
• Pet travel is booked on a space-available basis; up to two pets allowed in cabin per flight.
• Pet travel fees: $50 to $57.50 CAD/USD plus applicable taxes per direction, non-refundable.
• Pets must travel with an adult fare-paying passenger.

Pets are allowed in Porter Lounges only if kept in the pet carrier and with the owner at all times.
