Seeing-eye dogs traveling with visually and/or audibly impaired passengers are allowed on board without a pet cage if they meet the following requirements:

• Possess a seeing-eye dog training certificate
• Are muzzled and kept on a leash
• Must travel under the owner’s seat at their feet

In Cargo Carrier Details

SCAT Airlines allows traveling with pets and strives to make air travel safe and stress-free for your pet.

• Only animals and birds approved by the airline and authorized to enter the destination or transit country may fly.
• Birds must travel in cages covered with a material impervious to light.
• During reservation, provide species, quantity, and weight of the animal or bird.
• Pets must be carried as checked baggage in a separate aircraft cargo hold.
• Pet weight is not included in baggage allowance; a special extra fee applies for the pet cage.
• Antagonistic pets (dog and cat) cannot share the same cargo hold.
• Boarding may be denied if no pet reservation is made or confirmed by the airline.
• Pets must be transported in passenger’s pet cages within the cargo hold.
• No cattle, wild animals, test animals, bees, or fish seed allowed as checked luggage.

A pet carrier (cage) must:

• Be spacious enough for the animal to stand, lie down, and turn around.
• Have a strong frame and secure connecting parts.
• Allow air passage from three sides, with most air passing through the top.
• Be clean, have a waterproof bottom, and contain sufficient water-absorbing material.
• Have a ledge around the perimeter to prevent spillage of absorbing material.
• Have handles for carrying.

Passengers must provide food and water for their pets and regularly feed and inspect them.
