Service Animals:

Service Animals (In-Cabin & Support)

For safety reasons, live animals, including service dogs, must be transported as cargo if the total journey time exceeds 17 hours.

Total journey time includes approximately 1 hour for airport check-in before departure and 1 hour until delivery at the arrivals hall.
Animals transiting through Dubai must be transported as cargo if the flight connection time is more than 6 hours.

Certain service animals are allowed to travel in the cabin on Emirates flights, subject to specific conditions.

You must complete a US Department of Transportation Service Animal Air Transportation Form before travel to attest to the animal’s health, training, and behavior.

If your flight is longer than eight hours, you must also submit a US Department of Transportation Service Animal Relief Attestation Form to confirm the dog will not relieve itself in the aircraft or can do so in a sanitary manner.

Emotional Support Animals:

Emirates does not recognize Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) as service animals. ESAs must be transported as checked baggage or cargo subject to standard pet travel rules and fees.
