Service Animals (In-Cabin & Support)

Under the Air Carrier Access Act (ACAA), a service animal is defined as a dog, regardless of breed or type, individually trained to perform tasks for a qualified individual with a disability. This includes physical, sensory, psychiatric, intellectual, or other mental disabilities.

• Only dogs trained to perform work or tasks qualify as service animals.
• Other animal species, emotional support animals, comfort animals, companionship animals, and service animals in training are not recognized as service animals.

Service animals are allowed in-cabin at no charge if they meet the following requirements:

• The animal must fit on your lap, at your feet, or under your seat.
• The animal cannot block the aisle.
• Dogs trained to detect explosives, drugs, or trained for search and rescue (with documentation) are also welcome at no charge.

Please complete and submit the U.S. Department of Transportation Service Animal Air Transportation Form to customercare@contourairlines.com at least 48 hours before departure. Passengers may be asked to present this documentation during their journey, so keep a copy with you while traveling.
