Service and Assistance Dogs

• Certified assistance dogs can always travel free of charge with SkyAlps.
• They must wear their distinctive harness for the duration of the flight.
• Reservations for assistance dogs must be made through SkyAlps Customer Service.

Emotional Support Animals (ESA) Policy

Emotional Support Animals (ESAN), even if certified, may only be transported if they meet the general pet transport requirements listed on this page. In all other cases, they are NOT allowed on board SkyAlps flights.

In-Cabin Pet Carrier Rules

• Maximum pet weight including transport bag/box: 8 kg.
• Transport box or travel bag must be fabric, lined with absorbent material, fully closable, and allow the animal to move.
• Maximum carrier dimensions: 45x23x45 cm or 45x42x20 cm.
• During the flight, the bag or box must remain closed and placed under the seat in front of you.
• Animals cannot be taken out of the bag/box during the flight.
• Maximum 2 pets per flight; each passenger may only have one animal.
• Pets may only be transported in the cabin; no pets allowed in cargo hold.
